There’s something going on here. What it is, I haven’t figured out yet. But, there is something. There’s always something though, isn’t there? And when there isn’t you are sure there should be or know there will be something. And so, one tends to live their life with the somethings hanging around.

for awhile i think i forgot what it was like to have a place you loved to live. we were trapped in a tiny noisy corner far away from anything that made me feel like me. and inside was too small to unfold ourselves. instead we stayed in bed and went out too much and generally became more depressed without being aware.
the move opened us up. there was a big window and space for a couch. and we remembered that we were humans. in love. with each other and with the visual world. i put some plants on the ledge and their leaves turned up a little. we put a carpet down and some bookshelves up. i remembered the idea of making a home into something you care about and that is a part of life.
now i’ve started to dream a little more. windows and light really help with that. i think this person must have incredible daydreams.
